Consultation and planning
At your initial appointment, we make sure your teeth and gums are healthy and suitable for Invisalign treatment. Using our innovative technology, we take digital scans and images of your teeth, which are used to create your comfortable and accurate aligners. We can even show you a preview of your new smile!
Discreet and comfortable treatment
You need to wear each set of aligners in your treatment series for two weeks before moving to the next. The aligners exert gentle forces onto your teeth, gradually moving them into their new positions. All you need to do is make sure you wear your aligners for 22 hours per day to keep your Invisalign treatment on track.
Your new straighter smile
When you have worn your last aligner, your treatment is complete and you can get ready to enjoy your newly straight smile! We check you are happy with your results and give you a custom retainer to keep your smile straight for the long term.

Contact usInvisalign uses a series of custom aligners to move your teeth into new positions, gradually creating your new straighter smile. It is an extremely easy, minimally invasive and very popular way to transform the appearance of your teeth. All you need to do is wear your comfortable and discreet aligners for 20-22 hours a day.
Your Invisalign aligners are made for your mouth, so once they are in, they are practically invisible. You don’t even need to make any changes to your diet or lifestyle, as you can remove your aligners to eat and drink whatever you choose and to brush your teeth as normal. You won’t have to spend any time worrying if you have food stuck in your braces after a meal!
The length of time needed for Invisalign treatment varies depending on your individual case and how far your teeth have to move. In most cases, it takes 6-12 months to achieve exceptional results with Invisalign. We will give you an idea of your expected treatment time during your initial consultation.
Invisalign aligners are designed with comfort in mind. They are custom made to your mouth using exact specifications for a snug and comfortable fit. No irritating metal brackets or wires are included, making it easy to wear your aligners all day.
Invisalign is an incredibly discreet treatment, with the clear aligners virtually invisible when worn. Even up close, other people won’t be able to tell you are having Invisalign treatment unless you tell them.
As well as improving the appearance of your smile, straightening your teeth can also help to keep your mouth healthy. Crooked teeth are harder to keep clean, increasing your risk of tooth decay and gum disease, so bringing them into line will help keep this at bay. Straightening your teeth can also have a positive effect on your overall appearance, enhancing your face shape and structure.
We keep a close eye on your progress during your Invisalign treatment, and see you at regular appointments every 6-8 weeks. During these, we make sure everything is going to plan and progressing smoothly, and make small adjustments if necessary to ensure the best outcome.
You need to wear a retainer to keep your teeth in their new straight positions for the long term. A retainer is often seen as the final stage of orthodontic treatment, and is required to stop your teeth reverting back to the way they were before you started your Invisalign journey.
In most cases, you need to change your aligners every week at home.
It is important you wear your aligners as much as possible but it can be acceptable to take them out for short periods during special occasions, such as a wedding.
